Suns, Broncos score in overtime to beat Grizzlies 11-9

The Phoenix Suns took control of the game with 11:18 remaining.

They scored 11 unanswered points in overtime, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 11 to 9 in overtime.

They have now won nine straight and six of their last seven at home.

They are tied for the best record in the Western Conference and tied for first place in the West.

The Grizzlies have lost three straight to the Suns and three in a row to the Nuggets.

The game was a rematch of the Grizzlies’ 104-93 loss to the Kings on Monday.

The Suns lead the series 3-0.

The Nuggets hold the second wild-card spot.

The teams combined for just 17 points in the first half.

The team that led the NBA in field goal percentage (41.2) was just 5 for 21 from the field.

Phoenix is also second in the league in assists per game (18.4) and is allowing the most assists in the NBA (15.7 per game).

The Suns led 51-39 at halftime and outscored Memphis 21-9 in the second half.

Phoenix went ahead by 12 points with a 3-pointer by Tyler Ulis with 9:46 left in the third quarter.

The Grizzes responded with a 17-2 run that included a 3 from Ty Lawson with 3:16 left in regulation.

The next two points came from a 3 by JaVale McGee, a dunk by Jordan Adams and a dunk from Jamal Murray.

Murray made the free throw with 11.1 seconds left in overtime and was fouled on the free throws.

The first foul call on the Kings was called on an offensive foul in the fourth quarter.

Sacramento’s Eric Bledsoe made a pair of free throws to give the Grizzlies a 94-88 lead.

The final horn sounded and the Grizzlies had to settle for a 109-100 victory.

This is the fifth meeting between the teams and the first time the Suns have won the series.

Phoenix outscores Memphis 24-13 in the paint, while Memphis is 19-11 in free throws made.

The two teams have combined for five losses in the series in the last five years.

The last time they met was in 2012.

The Memphis-Phoenix game is the second of two meetings this season between the Suns (29-19) and Grizzlies (26-17).

The two will play at Staples Center on Friday.

The Pelicans are 0-4 against the Suns in Memphis this season.

This season, the Pelicans are 7-10 against the Phoenix Suns.

The three games were the most played in the Pelicans’ franchise history, but this is the first in franchise history in which they will face each other.

The four games between the two teams were also the most of any franchise in franchise lore.

This year, the Suns won 107-98 on Nov. 19, 2014.

The other games between these teams were 102-87 on Nov, 21, 2015 and 96-94 on Jan. 18, 2017.

This will be the third time this season that the Suns face the Pelicans.

This marks the sixth time this year that the Pelicans have lost to the Phoenix Phoenix in a series.

The previous two times were both in 2015.

The Kings are 2-6 against the Pelicans this season, winning each of those games.

This game marks the second time the Pelicans won in Memphis and the Pelicans will be playing on the road for the second straight game against the Grizzlies.

The third time that the Phoenix and Grizzlies played was Feb. 6, 2017, in Memphis.

The Hornets lost 107-96 on Nov 23, 2017 at the Air Canada Centre.

This was the first game in franchise History that the two Phoenix teams have met.

This one will be played in Memphis as the Pelicans begin a five-game homestand.

The latest game for the Suns is Friday, Feb. 13, when they face the Grizzlies at the Pepsi Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The most recent game for Memphis was on Feb. 10, 2018 when the Suns defeated the Pelicans 110-94.

The Phoenix-Grizzes game will be televised on ESPN.

The series will air on ABC, ESPN, NBA TV, TNT and NBA Mobile.
