The new series from Stiller and producer Jeff Rauch (The Simpsons, The Mindy Project) follows Semaphore, an ultra-competitive small businesswoman with an insatiable thirst for the latest trends.
In this series, Stiller plays a high-level executive who helps Semaphores win market share and become more successful, while Rauches main character, Semaphot, is driven to create a new, more profitable brand.
It’s a fascinating pairing, and Stiller told EW that he’s excited about the opportunity to play the show’s leading brand executive.
“This is going to be my breakout show,” he said.
“It’s going to break a lot of mold, because it’s the type of show where you can actually have an audience that’s going, ‘Oh my God, we should watch this.'”
Here’s a look at how Semaphor will work: Stiller will play a high level executive who will help Semaphones win market shares and become the most successful brand in the world.
“I’ve always been drawn to this type of work, because I think that people are so disconnected from the world that they can’t really connect to the brand, and I think I’ve been able to connect to that,” he told EW.
“And I think it’s something that’s really valuable to me as a brand executive because it connects me to that.”
Semaphon will be produced by Disney XD and distributed by Cartoon Network.
In addition to the series, Semphore is also streaming on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox Game Console, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox Wireless Controller, Apple Watch, Android Wear and Smartphone app, all of which can be purchased individually, in-store and digitally.
